How we calculate this: Run-rate cost assumes the salary delta applied to an estimated female headcount share of ~50% (sector-adjusted) for one year. The Joint Pay Assessment trigger is explicit in Article 10 of the Directive, an unexplained gap of 5% or more in any worker category. Peer comparison uses the Irish CSO 2022 reference figure of approximately 9.6% mean hourly gap.
